This is the official site for DJ Chris Taylor (Rogue State DJ), offering event DJ services across the UK.

What personal data we collect and why

Enquiries & contact forms

When you submit an enquiry or booking request, we collect your name, email address, event details (such as venue, date, music preferences), and any other information you choose to share. This information is used solely to respond to your request and to plan your event. Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to us by email.

Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp & Instagram messages

If you send a direct message to the Rogue State DJ Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number, Meta shares your message content, name, and profile identifier with us so that we can reply. We use a self-hosted messaging system to receive and respond to these messages. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry — for example booking availability, event details, or general questions about our DJ services. We do not sell, share, or use this data for advertising or any purpose beyond responding to your message.

Cookies

This site keeps cookies to a minimum. Embedded third-party content (see below) may set its own cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information including your IP address, device and browser type, and browsing activity on this site. This data is processed by Google and used only for internal analysis to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally.

How long we retain your data

Data submitted through the contact form may be retained for up to 12 months for customer service and record-keeping, unless you request its removal.

What rights you have over your data

You may also request deletion of message data collected via Facebook Messenger or Instagram specifically; such requests will be honoured within 30 days.

Additional notes
